For 30 years now, at the architectural office ‘Lefteris Tsikandilakis & Associates’ we are committed to the values and the processes of Architecture, serving the field with passion and dedication.
As architects, we create spaces with perspective for our client. Our goal is to be special and unique, to inspire and improve the quality of life, by meeting the needs of those to whom they are addressed. As a team, we are open to new challenges with thirst for new knowledge and passion for problem solving.
The architectural office with the name "Lefteris Tsikandilakis & Associates" was founded in November 1991 in Heraklion, Crete, in an area of 110 sq.m. The practice deals with architectural studies of private and public works, landscaping of professional spaces, restorations of listed buildings, with hospitality, pharmacies, and retail stores. With extensive work experience, multiple collaborations with foreign companies and innovative ideas, it aims to create spaces of high aesthetics and functional efficiency to cover in the best possible way customer needs. At the same time, it respects the constraints arising from the location and the peculiarities of the respective study area, the plot, or the building. The office employs people of various specialties, such as architects, civil engineers, interior and industrial designers. Since 2004 the company has gradually expanded and is now housed in a new location that covers an area of 205 sq.m.
In November 2007, the annex "Lefteris Tsikandilakis Construction" is founded, a company with excellent know-how and technical training that provides the possibility of perfect implementation of the special projects designed by "Lefteris Tsikandilakis & Associates“. This way we ensure the on-time and the appropriate completion of the designed space, in combination with the provision of equipment until the delivery of the project.
The renewed company potential provides its services throughout the island of Crete, Athens and the rest of Greece since August 2010, marking a new beginning for the company and the field of construction nationwide.
Since 2015 our space has been further developed with an addition of 120 sq.m. to be used in a variety of ways, to cover various needs such as hosting exhibitions or events, promoting, and contributing to the field of art in the city.
On March 2020 Myron Tsikandilakis was integrated into the team as a partner continuing the tradition with passion, curiosity, determination and urge, focusing even more on evolution, innovation and the upcoming challenges that technology rapidly raises.
Our goal is to offer our customers what they need, but also to present them with something they have never imagined before.
Architecture is our passion. We aim to create buildings that are unique and are a source of inspiration for the user, to design spaces that manage to listen to the human needs. Thus, we design places that people love, that tell a story and create special experiences, whether it is a shop, a house, a hotel, an office space.
