A newly completed pharmacy in Ierapetra, Crete, brings together functionality and a distinctive architectural identity.
Curved forms are the defining feature of the façade, setting the building apart from its surroundings and creating a striking, recognisable presence. This design language continues throughout the interior, where curved elements establish a visual connection between the exterior and the internal spaces.
Product display areas are arranged along the perimeter, with bespoke display units and shelving organised into dedicated categories to ensure clear presentation and easy access for visitors. The service counters are positioned at the rear of the space, seamlessly integrated into the overall composition to meet functional requirements while preserving an open, calm and welcoming atmosphere.
Indirect lighting is subtly incorporated into the furniture and display surfaces, highlighting the products while enhancing the ambience of the interior.
A restrained palette of earthy tones, clean lines and natural wood elements brings the design together, creating a contemporary yet timeless environment. More than a space for everyday transactions, the pharmacy is conceived as a place of care, comfort and human connection.
