The initial proposal for the pharmacy renovation was based on contemporary design principles, as there was a strong desire to design a unique space with a new and distinct identity.
The “clean” volumes, the way the products are placed and the balance of colors and materials create the feeling of a spacious interior that “breathes”. By placing the products perimetrically of the pharmacy, a central space is created. This provides clear circulation for customers and employees, as well as an unobstructed view of all the products. The furnishing is complimented with interior lighting, which is placed behind the shelves in an indirect manner, so as to distinctively illuminate the products and accentuate them.
The design of the exterior façade aims to “open” the pharmacy to the local market and provide a clear view of the interior. Furthermore, the choice of materials and colors, which are used for the façade, aims to integrate the pharmacy with the existing building.
The end result is deemed more than impressive as it has transformed the space in a profound way and is has created a new dynamic atmosphere in the pharmacy.
